The latest podcast is more of a ‘podcast extra’ – it’s the uncut version of an interview Ali recorded for the Scots Whay Hae! Show on CamGlen Radio (Saturdays, 3-5pm – camglenradio.org) with musician Calum Jones.
To fit the show it had to be edited down, but we thought their conversation merited being heard in full, so here it is as well as two examples of Calum’s music, his current single ‘Two Months’ and ‘Hollow Hopes’.
The two discuss how Calum writes his songs, how the plan of releasing a new single very month of 2020 is working out, what life has been like during COVID, missing live music, his lockdown listening, and a whole lot more. It’s a candid and engaging chat with one of the most prolific and interesting musicians around.
If you are new to the Scots Whay Hae! podcast there is quite a substantial back-catalogue for you to discover. If you aren’t yet a subscriber you can do so, (or simply listen) at iTunes, on Podbean, with Spotify, by RSS (but you’ll need to have an RSS reader to do so) or on MixCloud.
You can also download the podcast by clicking on the relevant link to the left of this post, or, if you want it right here, right now, you can listen on SoundCloud…
