One of the sure signs that Spring is coming is the start of the annual Glasgow Film Festival which starts today (Wednesday 26th February ) and runs to Sunday 9th March, and is celebrating it's 21st year!
It’s the festival for the more discerning film fan, with something for everyone, including the pick of the best new releases, old favourites, horror, indie, films from home, and around the world, & a whole lot more.
Once again the majority of the action will be at the festival's spiritual home of the Glasgow Film Theatre.
2025’s programme has so much to recommend it we couldn’t possibly do anything other than offer some considered recommendations, but you can find the full programme here.
